About Lorraine Larrieux Crafts, LLC

Bonjour!

My Name is Bria.  Welcome to my petite boutique! I started making my own bath products out of sheer love for self-care. I have always loved bath products of all sorts; natural and simple bath products, crazy colorful and fragrant ones, bath salts, scrubs, gels, lotions, bubbles and soap -- you name it, since I was a little girl.... but the products didn't always love me back. I have dry, sensitive skin, and it is difficult to find something that is gentle, yet still smells amazing and is fun to use or give as gifts. In those younger days, I looked forward to store brand soaps and a simple milk bath at either of my grandmother's houses. My grandmothers were both hard-working women that served others and provided for their families with their handmade creations. Fast forward to today, and their names are literally the source of my business name, Lorraine Larrieux.

There is something so comforting about a good bath or shower that can give you an outstandingly refreshing start, or a ritualistically calming end to your day. Bath time was always my moment of reflection, usually accompanied by good music (and singing along to that music), sometimes a few candles. When I make a bath product, I select ingredients well known for their benefits on skin of all types. I have worked in the bath and body cosmetics industry for many years, and I am a proud, card toting member of the "bath fanatic" club. Anyone who knows me will tell you that bath treats are my favorite subject. I am determined to share my love of self-care with everyone I encounter, in sincere hopes that your life is changed for the better, one awesome bathing experience at a time.

Thank you for supporting my small business!

SOAP BAR BEST PRACTICES:

Sure, you know how to wash up... These special soap lover tips will help your soap bar last longer!

  1. Store your unused/wrapped soaps in a cool, dry place.
  2. Protect your bars and keep them out of standing water, preferably on a wire rack or well ventilated soap dish where they can dry completely between use.
  3. Cut large bars in half, using one half at a time to extend the life of the bar.
  4. Save the tidbits of used soaps in your "soap saver" bag to use them all up. This promotes zero waste, and ensures that they won't slip through your fingers.
